… that on this Saturday last year I wrote this…

Yes, our wedding was one year ago today (although techincally our anniversary is Monday… but this was the Saturday.) And what a wonderful Saturday it was… you can read more about it here, here, here or here! The time has flown by and if I could do that day all over again I would do it in a heartbeat! The day was wonderful… it was truly a blessing to have so many people we love with us.

And today one of my oldest and best friends (hey Meagan!) little brother is getting married (well at this point in the day he already has a Mrs.) Congratulations Matt! I was texting Meagan this morning and saying that time really has flown and that I wish we could go back to 5 years old when she was telling Matthew and I that a ghost came and tied her to the monkey bars on their swing set. Of course, being the good storyteller she was, Matt and I bought it hook line and sinker. (To his credit he was 2 years younger, so I was truly the gullible one.) One day Matt may have a daughter and son just like his sister… hopefully for the brother he’s older and will get to play the tricks… kidding Meagan. (And don’t do that too soon Matt! :) )

So anyhow… I am off to get ready for a yummy Italian dinner with my…. husband :)

We really are lucky…
